Financial Aid Options

Employer Reimbursement

Loyola accepts tuition reimbursement from employees and employers who make that benefit available to them. Online students who receive tuition reimbursement may be eligible for a payment extension of 90% of your tuition and fees. While transcripts and your diploma will not be released until receipt of final payment, this deferral may nonetheless be helpful to you. Read more about how this policy affects students in specific online programs here.

Financial Aid

Applying for financial aid is easier than most people think. Most students are eligible, and our friendly staff will help you check your eligibility. Students should complete the FAFSA as early as possible after January 1 in order to be considered for all types of financial aid.

For Veterans

Loyola University New Orleans participates in several different programs for students who are eligible for benefits. To determine which benefit you may be eligible for, please review the educational programs on the Veterans Affairs website.

The most popular program is the Post 9-11 program. If you are 100% eligible, you will receive $26,671 annually in tuition and fees. If you utilize this amount, you will be eligible for Yellow Ribbon. Loyola will provide up to $12,000, which Veterans Affairs will match. You may also be eligible for a monthly basic housing stipend with a value of up to $1,000 per year. If you have any specific questions, please contact Loyola’s school certifying official, Kathy Gros at kgros@loyno.edu or (504)865-3237.
